Rich Man Adventures

Monday - Today we had devotional, went to a homeschool meetup at the Wild West playground. There were a couple families that came. I had fun pushing other kids on the merry-go-round and playing, but I didn't want to stay very long. I did my math lesson, finished up the first unit test and language arts lesson. Then I practiced piano. Tuesday - Today we had devotional, then my mom had a chiropractor appointment and she showed me how the spine can affect lots of different things in the body through the nerves. I did my math lesson 31 about the US Customary System while she was talking to the chiropractor and getting adjusted. Mon. Dec. 8 - Today we did some free writing. I wrote about my world I'm working on in Minecraft. I don't really like to write, but it was fun to draw some pictures about my world. I finished my last math lesson for the unit I'm on, and I will be doing the unit assessment the rest of this week. My mom showed me how to use watercolor markers, but I didn't really want to do it with her. We did go to the church and play basketball in the gym. My mom taught me about visualizing the ball going in the net, and it actually seemed to help! I got three shots in a row in the basket! In the afternoon I played with my friend, Nathan and we played games and watched Mark Rober videos. I think I want to be an engineer like him when I grow up. I read with my dad in the evening. Tues. Monday Nov. 24 - I made cinnamon rolls again so I could make them with my sister who is visiting from college! It was fun and they are so yummy! We did lots of measuring while we cooked. We also did another math lesson about estimating large numbers. Tues.  - I went ice skating with my mom and older sister. It was really fun and I just wanted to hold their hands the whole time, but I did skate around once without holding their hands. I also did a math review, and had my piano lessons. I did a really good job on my songs! Wed.  - I raked another yard today and earned $20. Thanksgiving break - We drove to Cedar City and had Thanksgiving with grandparents and family. My favorite thanksgiving food is my grandparents homemade stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy! I had fun with my cousins. We went ATV riding at Sand Hollow with my uncle Jason.
