Learning Log: Due Dec. 15
Mon. Dec. 8 - Today we did some free writing. I wrote about my world I'm working on in Minecraft. I don't really like to write, but it was fun to draw some pictures about my world. I finished my last math lesson for the unit I'm on, and I will be doing the unit assessment the rest of this week. My mom showed me how to use watercolor markers, but I didn't really want to do it with her. We did go to the church and play basketball in the gym. My mom taught me about visualizing the ball going in the net, and it actually seemed to help! I got three shots in a row in the basket! In the afternoon I played with my friend, Nathan and we played games and watched Mark Rober videos. I think I want to be an engineer like him when I grow up. I read with my dad in the evening.
Tues. Dec. 9 - Today we had piano lessons, then math, then went to the church to play basketball. I read with dad in the evening.
Wed. Dec. 10 - We went to our friend's house for art. We made shrink art! We drew pictures on a plastic sheet, then watched them shrink in the oven. I also played hide and go seek and building with magnet blocks. At home we worked on our math assessment.
Thurs. Dec. 11 - Today we went to a homeschool group meetup at Altitude trampoline park, except we were the only ones there. But I still had fun. We also worked some more on my unit math assessment.
