Rich Man Adventures

Monday - For Math we learned about rounding numbers to the nearest million and cleaned up my room. My brother is moving his room downstairs, so I have the room all to myself. We are going to design what my room can be like! I want glow in the dark stars on my ceiling! We forgot about the making muffins zoom call, but mom and I still made muffins. They were yummy! Tuesday - Today we had our Brain Balance zoom call, and did another math assignment. We fed my pet Praying Mantis and learned that the mealworms need water to stay alive too, by cutting up fruit and giving to them. We also found a spider eating a butterfly! Wednesday - Today we went to a playgroup, but only a couple young kids were there. But mom and I practiced jump rope. We also did a math assignment. We also read a chapter in Pollyanna about hanging crystals in the window and watching them scatter rainbows. So we did that too. Pollyanna said we can all be like prisms by spreading joy. Monday - Today we went to a playgroup at a park I've never been to. It was a fun playground and there were other kids that I played with there. I have been feeding my Praying Mantis, Sunny, every day. Tuesday - Today I did brain balance and then a zoom call art class where we made Minecraft selfies. Mine didn't turn out great, but part of that was because I had to use small graph paper. My mom wasn't able to print off the larger grid paper. I got to start on Minecraft Education. I really like it. I can do coding and there are more things I can do and it's fun. Wednesday - Today we did Math and Language Arts. I did a Lion picture for Math, it was fun. We are still reading Pollyanna. I am making a character sheet to help me remember all the characters. Pollyanna helped a man who broke his leg. Thursday - Today we learned more about Minecraft Steam and completed the first activity where we dissected a flower. I chose a dark pink rose from my yard. I looked at the flowe...

Monday: Brain balance exercises, math and reading. Tuesday: We did Brain Balance exercises, art on the Ipad and on physical paper with oil pastels. We did a Math review and learned about Onomatopoeias.  Wednesday: Today we visited my mom's friend and her kids. We do art with them once a month. Today we learned about contrasting colors and did pixel art and made a magazine collage out of ripped up magazines. It was fun and silly. We also did Math and I took a nap! Later my Lego Spike kit came in the mail. I'm excited to learn how to use it. Thursday: It was a hard day. My hamster, Windy, died. We had a funeral for her and and a Praying Mantis was in attendance. He became my new pet. I named him Sunny. We got some mealworms and roaches to feed him. I still miss Windy, but I'm happy that Sunny brightened my day. We watched some videos about how to care for a Praying Mantis. Friday: Today I participated in a Flex Friday on Zoom. Monday : Labor Day. We moved some furniture. Tuesday : today i HaD A ZoOM CaL for ()pEN Ed. adjectives verbs AnD NouNS practice. Then my mom and I made banana bread. I played grow garden while mom met with a lady that is going to help us design our homeschool space. Wednesday : Today we went to Ahhhsome relaxation and read more of the book Pollyanna. She just arrived at her aunt Polly's house and found our that she would have to sleep in the attic, which wasn't very nice, but Pollyanna chose to notice the beautiful view out the windows and climbed out onto a tree to go and explore the area. I decided I can choose to see good things in my life, even if it's not perfect. We got my math curriculum printed off and ready to start doing! Monday: Today we went shopping and I kept track of the price total. I got a new SCOOTER and a 3x3 and a 2x2 rubik's cubes and went to a park with other kids and did a picnic. It was fun. Tuesday: I did Brain balance and math, math and more MATH! We did rounding and subtractions and addition. Then read chapter 2 and 3 of Pollyanna. I'm working on my character sketches. Wednesday: Today I explored Minecraft steam foundations. I learned about Planet Plxlr and pixel art. I printed a graph paper to create my own pixel art. Mom and I had fun making lots of different pixel fruit pictures.  Thursday: I finished doing Math assessments finally. Today We also did a lemonade stand and made $10. Friday: Today I made a Mark Rober build box that taught about belts. It's a fun game where two wooden ducks move along a belt and then two people use party kazoos to knock down the ducks. When the duck knocks over it moves a wheel that keeps score of who has knocked over the most ducks. Mom...
