Learning Log - Due Jan 26, 2026
Mon 1/19- I had swimming lessons in the morning. It is Martin Luther King Jr. day. For dinner I made pizza with my friend and sister.
Tues 1/20-
Today I had piano lessons. I practiced my handwriting, then I helped my mom clean the house to prepare for her book club in the evening. They read "Theo of Golden" by Allen Levi and she's obsessed with it. I also did my math lesson 46 on Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Thurs 1/22- There was an earthquake today, but I didn't even notice it! My mom and I talked about earthquakes and did some earthquake drills. I had an orthodontist appointment. They wanted to put braces back on me and I decided I want to wait a little longer. I also did math lesson 47 about long division and the review practice.
Fri 1/23- I wrote in my journal today about if I were an astronaut.
I also typed a letter to the fictional character in the Lost Library named Evan. Here is what I wrote: "Dear Evan, I'm sorry your dad didn't tell you about the library that burned down. I think he might have burned it down."
We also drove down to Cedar City for my Great-Grandmother's funeral. That was my first time going to a viewing and funeral. I hadn't wanted to go, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be.
